Announcement: NIVS Stakeholder Consultation Session on 7 June 2023 from 18.00-20.30 at Letitia Vriesdelaan 8-10 (SAIS Building)

As part of the celebration of World Food Safety Day, coinciding on June 7th, 2023, the leadership of NIVS is pleased to invite you to witness the progress towards a key milestone in building the food safety system in Suriname:

• The discussion of the first draft of a modernized food law and,
• The Launch of a food safety communication strategy by NIVS.

The purpose of this meeting is to solicit your input and further support in moving forward with the draft law to the National Assembly of Suriname and the deployment of a food safety awareness raising campaign by NIVS.
